I truly cannot say enough about the care and compassion I received during my visit. I came in experiencing chest pain and significant anxiety, and I was scared. When you are in that position, the way people treat you can make an enormous difference—and this team made all the difference for me. From the moment I walked through the doors, Lisa at the front desk greeted me with kindness and compassion. That first interaction immediately helped me feel like I was somewhere I would be cared for. Troy, my  tech, was incredibly kind and patient. He treated me like a person, not simply another test that needed to be completed. Amber, my RN, was absolutely wonderful. Her compassion, reassurance, and attentiveness helped me through a moment when I felt extremely vulnerable. Sometimes it is the small things—a kind voice, someone listening, or simply feeling that someone genuinely cares—that you remember the most. Dr. Ziegler and Dr. Kim were exceptional. They treated me with dignity and respect, listened to what I was experiencing, and never made me feel embarrassed or dismissed because anxiety was part of what I was going through. Chest pain is frightening, and anxiety can make that fear even more overwhelming. Having physicians who listened, took me seriously, and treated me with compassion meant more than I can put into words. I have spent many years in healthcare myself, so I understand how busy and demanding caring for patients can be. I also know that clinical knowledge is only one part of providing excellent care. Compassion, dignity, patience, and kindness matter just as much—especially when someone is frightened. This team demonstrated all of those qualities. I walked in scared and overwhelmed, but I left feeling heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. I will never forget how I was treated during a moment when I needed kindness the most. Thank you, Lisa, Troy, Amber, Dr. Ziegler, and Dr. Kim. You may have simply felt like you were doing your jobs, but to me, your kindness meant so much more. ❤️

The environment is warming and welcoming. They were very kind and attentive. Dr. Stephenson got straight to the point and took x-rays to start. Addressing my needs head on. My nurse and the receptionist (my apologies I forgot their name) they made me feel calm and safe during the whole process.  I can tend to get high anxiety in the ER. They also contacted an orthopedic doctor for me. I got a card in the mail. That was very kind and caring. They will handle my emergency needs from now on. I highly recommend.

I’ve been here three times in the past month because I’ve had some major issues going on. They treat me like family and they are very respectful. I have a hard time receiving an IV and the nurses are amazing and have been able to help me get one started each time. Both of the doctors that I’ve seen there have also been very kind and cordial with me. They have helped me so much in my time of need! Great Staff every time I’ve had to visit. Their professionals that are very kind & caring and always made me feel comfortable and very well taken care of. This was the first time I had gone to this facility.   The employees were so kind and considerate.   The Doctor was very knowledgeable and explained my situation thoroughly. Wylie ER was a true godsend for our family. When our usual urgent care was closed and we found ourselves in need of care, we weren’t sure where to turn. That’s when we discovered Wylie ER—and we’re so grateful we did. Dr. Ziegler (best name ever!) took the time to patiently listen to my son’s description of his pain. He made my son feel comfortable, truly heard, and seen, which made a world of difference during a stressful moment. The entire team at Wylie ER was outstanding from start to finish. From the welcoming front desk staff through to discharge, everyone we encountered was professional, kind, and efficient. They genuinely set the bar for excellence in emergency care. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Wylie ER to anyone in need.
