WYLIE, Texas (Aug. 21, 2024) – This month, Wylie ER, the neighborhood ER, proudly celebrates six years of providing exceptional medical services and compassionate healthcare in the Wylie community and beyond.
Six years ago, Wylie ER opened its doors with the goal of creating a healthcare system that not only provides exceptional medical care for all but fosters a sense of community, compassion, and innovation through its commitment to providing excellent emergency services with a focus on patient-centered care.

Wylie ER has achieved many accomplishments over the years, as reflected in the hospital’s mission to provide exceptional medical care. As an extension of The Colony ER Hospital system, the Wylie ER expands access to top-tier emergency services in the community without the barriers of traditional hospitals, like prioritizing low wait times, access to an onsite laboratory, and advanced imaging capabilities like CT scans, X-rays, Ultrasounds, and more.
To celebrate the ER’s milestone, Wylie ER has partnered with Tom’s Traveling Coffee to provide all members of the community and staff from Wylie ER, West Plano ER, and The Colony ER Hospital access to their morning coffee at Wylie ER on Thursday, August 22 from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Without the staff’s dedication and the support of the community, the success seen over the past six years would not be possible.
